This Space Project book by author Lynn Davis features photographs of deserted historical space launch sites rarely seen. Davis traveled to historic sites in Kazakhstan, Russia, Germany, French Guiana, and the United States. She had to get special permission to visit Baikonur in Kazakhstan which is a leading launch site shrouded in secrecy since the 1950s.  This hardbound book has 128 pages and was published by The Monacelli Press in November 2009.  It is still sealed and in excellent condition.
